Fiona Deng is a Chinese dance artist and choreographer who synthesizes community with performance.

 

As President of Lord Byng Chinese Dance Club, she expanded the group from a small circle of five dancers into a thriving team of 30+ by creating a rehearsal culture that made growth feel possible for everyone — beginners and experienced performers alike.

 

She choreographs with equal attention to technique and storytelling, integrating formations, prop work (such as fans and ribbons), and staging that only “click” when every dancer understands their role in the larger picture.
